PDMA Sindh dispatched relief items for ongoing cold wave.
PDMA Sindh in order to protect needy people from enormity of cold wave across the province, has dispatched more than 3000 blankets and 1750 woolen mattresses to Districts Karachi(Central), Larkana, Jamshoro, Tando Allahyar & Tando Muhammad Khan. These items were handed over to District Administrations for distribution amongst underprivileged.
PDMA Sindh through World Bank Funded Sindh Resilience Project(PDMA) organized training session on Community Based Disaster Risk Management.
In continuation to Mainstreaming Disaster Risk Reduction trainings for Government officials throughout the Province, the second session of trainings was held at Hyderabad from 4th Jan to 6th Jan 2021.On concluding day, Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad participated in the event and distributed certificates amongst participants.

PDMA Sindh through World Bank funded Sindh Resilience Project is conducting trainings of Government Officials on Mainstreaming Disaster Risk Reduction throughout the Province. In this regard, the first session of trainings was held at Karachi from 28th to 30th December 2020.During training, these officias were given lectures on Disaster Risk Reduction, mainstreaming DRR in development planning and Disaster Management Information System.
